SCARCE to VERY RARE- There are a few 19th Century card sets related to the American Indians and the Wild West.

The N2 Allen & Ginter American Indian Chiefs set issued in 1888, is the most well known of the early Indian Issues. The cards are 1.5" by 2.75" and are attractive full color lithographs. There are 50 different American Indian Chiefs in the set, not including 4 rare (wrong caption) error cards.

The N162 Goodwin & Co. set issued in 1888, picture Champions of the era, including Buffalo Bill, Champion of the Wild West Hunters. The cards are 1.5" by 2.75" and are full color lithographs. The set is complete at 50 different cards (8 baseball), but only 1 has a Wild West theme.

The N189 W.S. Kimball & Co. set pictures Savage and Semi Barbarous Chiefs and Rulers. There are 50 different cards in the set including many American Indians.

The N570 Kickapoo Plug Tobacco cards were issued by the Monarch Tobacco Works of Louisville KY in 1890. They are fairly rare and highly desired. The N570 cards are larger than the N2 cards at 2.5" by 4" and use the same full color lithographs. The set is complete at only 4 different cards.
