The T205 set was issued in 1911 and included 11 different backs with a couple variations. The cards are normal tobacco card size at roughly 1-7/16" by 2-5/8". The set gets its name from the gilded gold border. This border is often found tarnished or chipped making high grade examples tough. The AL players are set inside a baseball diamond design, while the NL players show a portrait with facsimile signature. The set is complete at 208 cards not including variations.
