Pinkerton Photo Cards

SCARCE to RARE - These Roughly 3.5" by 5.5" postcard size and stock cards were made using the same photos as the popular T5 Pinkerton Cabinets of the same year. They are found with a blank back (sometimes used as a postcard), or a Scorecard back. Many collectors previously thought these cards were issued at a much later date than the ca.1911 T5 Cabinets, but some of the cards that have been used as a postcard (with postmark) prove otherwise. Blank back cards are found slightly more often. There are 7 different Scorecard back cards checklisted, and 8 different Blank back cards checklisted, but others do exist. |
