VERY RARE - These large 2.75" by 4.85" cards were issued in 1916 by Fleischmann Bakery of New York City with the purchase of their bakery products. The cards originally came with a coupon at the bottom of the card, but most have been cut from the cards. Cards that still have this coupon attached at bottom book for 6X more than cards without the coupon. A nearly identical set of cards were issued by the Ferguson Bakery in the same year, but the Ferguson cards have only a single line of identification (player/team name), while the Fleischmann cards have two lines of identification. There are 103 different cards in the set. |
