SCARCE to VERY RARE - These early B&W or sepia postcards were made by many companies over the years, with some being unidentified on the card itself. The easiest way to identify the maker is to look at the stamp box on back. Most of these real photo postcards also do not identify the player on the card, but sometimes the players name is written in pencil on the back by the maker. The very rare postcard/exhibit entitled "Snookums and Babe Ruth" can be found in at least 2 colors, green or yellow. |
