American Caramel Co.

SCARCE - This popular set was issued by the American Caramel Co. of Philadelphia.   The E120 American Caramel Co. cards are 2" by 3.5" in size and similar in front design to the V61 Neilson's Chocolate and the W573 B&W strip cards of the same year.   The E120 National League players have cards that are printed in green ink on a blue-green card stock.   The E120 American League players have cards that are printed in brown ink on a cream card stock.   The backs have a team checklist for the team the player played for.  There are blank backed cards known, but they are very scarce. There are 240 cards in the E120 set.
