Manager Postcards

Ty Cobb variations with and without "Mgr."

RARE - These fairly unknown and recently cataloged postcards mainly picture Major League managers of the 1925 era, but 2 non Mgr. cards have been seen (Cobb, Ruth). The postcards have large cream borders with a small portrait photo in the center. They are made of a lower quality heavy paper card stock and the printing is of lower quality as well. The Ty Cobb postcard has been seen with or without the "Mgr." on front.  The non-Mgr. postcard has his name in upper and lower case letters, is slightly smaller, and has a slightly different "Post Card" design on back. This non-Mgr. Cobb card is rarer, and may predate the ca.1925 Mgr. Postcards by a few years. About 5-7 different managers have been seen.
