Playing Card
Strip Cards |
|
These "playing card" style strip cards were originally sold in sheets of 16 cards, and were intended for kids to cut into roughly 1.75" by 2.75" cards. Along with the baseball players there are a few aviators and other athletes found in the W560 set. The cards have gray cards stock blank backs. W560's are found in 3 different variations, red ink, black ink, or a scarcer variation with both red and black ink. Also the front card stock can be found in a yellowish to pinkish color. W560 cards are slightly similar in design to the far scarcer E285 Rittenhouse Candy Co. set of 1933. There are 49 different baseball player cards in the W560 set. |
