Quaker Oats Pin - From the "Babe Ruth Radio Show" of the 1934-35 era, this 15/16" celluloid pin was available through a mail in offer with Quaker Oats. It has a portrait of Babe Ruth with "Member" above and "Baseball Club" below along with a facsimile autograph. Issued with no back paper.
Quaker Oats Umpire's Scorekeeper - One of many premiums of Ruth available by Quaker Oats ca.1935. The scorekeeper is made of celluloid, and is 1-3/4" round. There is a loop at top that originally had a leather band with buckle attached. There are 2 variations, one with the Boston Braves hat, and the scarcer one with a New York Yankees hat. Ive seen many of these with variations in the colors of the back print, and also at least 1 scorer that was printed on red colored celluloid (very unusual). |
