SCARCE to RARE - The Wheaties Cereal Co. featured postcards of the minor league Minneapolis Millers of the American Association. The 3.5" by 5.5" 1932 set is thought to be from Wheaties but there is no advertising on the cards for the cereal company. The 1932 set has blank backs and is complete at 24 cards. The 1933 set is more scarce than 1932 and they are slightly larger at 4" by 5.75" in size, and have a drawing of a Wheaties box on the postcard style back. Most cards from 1933 will have a stamped blue ink "VOID" on the stamp box. There are 24 different cards in the 1933 set. |
