RARE to VERY RARE - These attractive real photo cards were issued by the Worch Cigar Co. of St. Paul Minnesota. Worch cards are blank back postcard size photos that are roughly 3.4" by 5.4" in size, with some having the background of the photo whited out. The photos used for the Worch cards are from two local newspapers, the Minneapolis Star and St. Paul Dispatch. Cards were made of players from the Majors American and National Leagues and also a couple minor league teams from the American Association. Not including design variations, there are 146 different players known in the Major League set and 57 different players known in the minor league American Association set, but others may still exist.
