Goudey Gum Co. |
|
SCARCE - The R324 1941 Goudey set is the last and toughest of the 6 gum sets the Goudey Gum Co. issued between 1933-1941. These 1941 Goudey cards are roughly 2.4" by 2.9" in size (approximate due to very imprecise cutting) with a blank back and found in one of 4 background colors, red, blue, yellow, or green. Many cards were cut offcenter or diamond cut, and there is also a variation where the cards were cut with the name showing at the top of the card. Cards number 21-25 were short printed and are much scarcer than others in the set. There are 33 different cards in the set. |
