SCARCE to RARE - For most of the 1950's and 1960's the St. Louis Cardinals issued postcards and postcard sized photos to be used for Cardinals fan mail replies. The earlier years are horizontal in format and usually have postcard style backs with various stadium addresses and union labels, and are sometimes found signed and or hand addressed by the players. Most of the 1954-1960's sets are blank backed vertical format glossy photo cards rather than postcards, and will have printed blue or black facsimile autographs on front. It is unknown how many cards make up complete sets, and all years/styles are still fairly unknown and uncataloged in any price guide.
