VERY RARE - These 2.25" by 3.2" blank back B&W cards were issued by the Blossom Dairy Co. of Charleston West Virginia in 1954. The Charleston Senators were a AAA minor league team of the Chicago White Sox. The 1954 Blossom Dairy cards are thought to be a late issue by the Globe Printing Co. or were patterned after the Globe issues (Globe issued many minor league sets in 1951-52), right down to an album to hold the cards. There are 22 different cards known. |
